What's the difference between a community and a bunch of people dancing in the same general area? I'll tell you - communities come together and make their events happen with their own two hands. Volunteering a little of your time for the campout is fun, a good ice-breaker, and hugely satisfying! Why not give it a try? Here's a rundown of the positions we have available:
Gate and Parking
There's nothing more fun than being the welcoming committee, and it's also a great way to make new friends. Be the first smiling face our campers see.
Time: There are shifts available for this one Friday night through Monday morning. Respond early on, and you can get a time that's perfect for your schedule.
Strike
Prove that you are a true professional! You'll be rewarded with our undying adoration... and by being able to stay a few extra hours on Monday.
Time: Monday morning
Family Dinner
Get your fellow campers the fuel they need to dance the night away.
Time: Saturday afternoon and evening
Lighting Setup for Dance and Poolside Areas
Show off your prowess with electronics (or learn some) and make the sure the nighttime ambiance is just the way you like it.
Time: Setup on Friday night, and fine-tuning on Saturday afternoon.
Truck
Nothing says sexy like loading and unloading trucks. Plus, it's over with before the party even starts!
Time: Thursday evening in SF, Friday morning at Camp & Sons, and/or Tuesday afternoon in SF
Decorations
Stare at all the gorgeousness around you and know that you made it happen. Nice!
Time: Saturday morning for setup, or Monday morning for strike
Refreshment Services
This one is really fun. Cruise around the pool with snacks to keep your fellow campers going! Fun outfits are encouraged, from sexy to hilarious... remember the popsicle brigade last year?
Time: Friday 8-11pm, Saturday 12-3pm, Sunday 12-3pm
